~ Pay Day! ~

So I've been in and out of FFXI recently. It's getting a tad boring without anyone offering to help me and Emily with missions/quests/exp, and lots of CDC members never bother to turn up to events. What's my excuse?

I've been wrestling with my PC since I got two new toys recently, and last night I finally got them working!

My PC is now equipped with an ATI Radeon X1950 PRO Super, and it's beastly counterpart (something I've been putting off for years) a Samsung 22" 226BW TFT HDMonitor :D

My little setup:

This thing is a beast. Need for Speed: Carbon, Doom 3, FFXI, all on highest settings and runs like a PS3. FFXI looks shit as always, but it's ancient anyway. It's nice to see my character not blurred or the background too dark though. Using windower looks like full screen mode due to how bright the monitor is @_@; and it's so nice on my eyes... Maybe I won't need glasses for another year instead of next month :p
